REMINDER that on Tuesday, May 30th, the second deposit container drive for 2023 will be held. Please drag out your deposit container donations, which have been consumed during the past month. Please place your donations in plastic bags at the end of your driveways. The donations will be collected early Tuesday morning at approximately 9 AM. Sorting the donations in separate bags for glass, plastic, and metal greatly reduces the workload during the sorting process.
John Dackow (518-858-0217) will be coordinating the pickup effort on the North Shore Road and Clif Wassel (518-461-0714) will be heading up the effort on the South Shore Road. Note we plan to sort the donations before bringing them to the redemption center in Gloversville.
Volunteers will be needed for the donation processing effort at the tent at Peck’s Marina. The donation processing activity is planned to start at 9:30 AM after the donations are collected.
The volunteer response has always been exceptional for Lake Committee projects and is much appreciated.
