To avoid spreading invasive species between lakes, we encourage you to clean your boat whenever you are putting your boat in a different body of water (including Peck’s Lake). Check out the Invasive Species page to find out more.
▪ There is a free boat cleaning station located across from Caroga Town Hall (Routes 10 and 29A). It is open from 8am to 6pm Monday – Thursday and from 7am to 7pm Saturdays, Sundays and holidays

Yes, the speed limit for boats is 15 mph, with the exception of the area specifically designated for water-skiing and tubing. The speed limit within 200 ft of the shoreline,, dock, or docked or moored boat is 5mph — which means NO WAKE! To find out more about the Lake Rules, click here.
