Summer Solstice Boat Party

Come celebrate the first day of summer with your Peck’s Lake friends and neighbors. All are welcome! We will gather in the bay approximately one fourth of a mile from the last house on North Shore Road–the northeast corner of the lake. Some residents know this bay as Cranberry Cove but oddly there are no cranberries at the cove. This is a “bring your own beverage event,” so pack accordingly. Items to share with others attendees are encouraged.

We plan to lash the attending boats together so bring mooring ropes, an anchor and bumpers to protect other boats. We will have individuals to assist in the boat joining procedure. They will direct individuals that wish to join the party.

Remember to approach the group very slowly and ramming speed is not acceptable! Since the access between the boats are variable, the exact configuration of the joining will be determined as boats join the party. This event is weather dependent, so use your best judgment as to suitable weather conditions for your taste. Check the PLPA website for any announcements of cancellation.
